This double-storey red brick home sits on a hillside in Rye. An ideal location, set in a quiet street only a 4-minute drive to the Bay & local shopping strip.

The Space:
Cool and comfortable, this holiday house is the perfect retreat after a day at the beach as well as being warm and cozy during the colder months. Red Beauty is a great all-rounder!

The tranquil waters of Rye foreshore, local supermarket, cafes, restaurants and boutique shops are conveniently close by - you'll barely have need for a car while visiting.

A sweeping red brick driveway with plenty of space for multiple cars, and a small flight of stairs leads to the entrance. The main living area is inviting, cozy and comfortable with an open and spacious layout, decked with timber floors and cedar wall paneling.

The lounge is fitted with a great, big comfy L-shaped couch with large flat screen TV, WiFi, and French door access to the elevated back patio. Sheltered by a large overhang and set with rattan cushioned chairs around the outdoor fireplace, the patio is a magical spot, especially when it rains. Also on the patio is a gas BBQ and access to the paved alfresco dining for 6 and enormous terraced back yard with lawn and sweeping views.

The lounge area opens onto the very user friendly kitchen with large gas cooktop and electric oven, also equipped with Nespresso coffee pod machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer and air-conditioner making holiday feasts a joy to prepare and share around the 6-seat dining table. On the ground floor you'll also find a study area with desk, a bathroom with shower, toilet and handbasin, and also a laundry with washing machine.

The sleeping quarters are all upstairs: 4 bedrooms with 3 Queen beds, 1 double bed and robes, all with ceiling fans and black out blinds. Positioned between the bedrooms is the second bathroom with shower, toilet and handbasin. There is no air conditioner upstairs but the house stays cool due to its well insulated brick facade and blinds on all the windows.

All bedrooms are provided with linen and bedding (you will need to bring your own towels), each bathroom has hand wash and body wash, and there is also a laundry with top-loader washing machine.

Please be aware that the Mornington shire has strict guidelines that effect holiday rentals. These include restricting who can stay and the behaviour and activities of guests while occupying holiday rentals. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings that we feel don’t comply.

No Schoolies or Party-style bookings
If you book and disregard the above then we reserve the right to cancel the booking or ask you to vacate the premises immediately.

Amazing cozy home, we really did enjoy our stay! The outside fireplace is definitely a highlight of this property. Highly recommend! Thank you David for your hospitality and making this an amazing weekend trip for us.
