Hugged by shaded verandas & a gently sloping yard, stands this beautiful home amongst the Moonah Trees—a native species blanketing the Peninsula. A 10 minute walk leads to a secluded path accessing St Andrews Beach which has one of the longest stretches of ocean beach before the way is blocked by magnificent sandstone cliffs & coves. If you enjoy long walks on the beach St Andrews is your destination! This area is also home to some of the best rock pools on the Peninsula. Walk just a few blocks to Ocean Drive to find paths leading to the ocean & a walking track that stretches through the dunes above the cliffs.
Open-plan living gives the home a breezy air that carries through the house to the calm green yard. Enjoy family feasts on the 8 seat alfresco dining set up on the private back veranda beside the outdoor firepit (1 pack of wood provided) & main gas BBQ; & perhaps an aperitif beforehand in the Barrel House—a detached room set up as a grown-ups retreat (please be mindful of the edge of the veranda). With no shortage of options, there is also an outdoor lounge suite & patio heater on the side veranda, & on lazy afternoons hang out in the shady hammock with a book.
The Main living space has a very user-friendly kitchen equipped with gas stove & electric oven, stainless steel dishwasher, fridge, & microwave, Aldi (Kfee) Pod machine, & breakfast bench with 3 stools. Beyond is the spacious 8 seat dining table with views through the large sliding doors leading to the side veranda.
The Main Lounge room has plush L-shaped sofa generous enough to sit 8 people comfortably around the wood-burning fireplace & wall mounted flat screen TV with Netflix (available through your login details). Thick white blinds & air conditioner ensure comfort even on the hottest summer days & ducted heating throughout makes this home a delightful escape in colder months.
The second lounge, positioned at the front of the house, again has plenty of comfortable sofas, smart TV & Blu-ray DVD player, blinds & air conditioner.
The entire home is supplied with Zero Co - an Australian zero waste household product company.
The spacious Master Bedroom—with Queen bed, WIR, Ensuite with shower, toilet, & hand basin—has calming & simple decor with light natural tones, & has access through a large sliding door to veranda & most private area of the back yard with a little breakfast table where you can breathe deeply in the fresh ocean air while enjoying a morning cuppa.
Bedroom 2 has a set of Bunks as well as a Trundle.
Bedroom 3 & 4 have Queen beds & wardrobes.
A Porta Cot is also available at no extra charge.
Bathroom & Laundry facilities:
The Main Bathroom has a shower, bath with views of the tree tops outside, toilet, handbasin, & hair dryer.
The Laundry with front loader washing machine & dryer, also acts as a mudroom with access to the yard.
The garage is not available for guest use but there is plenty of on-premise parking in the large driveway makes coming & going a breeze.
Welcoming groups & families of up to 9 people, & dogs upon application. If bringing a pet there will be a one-off charge of $55.
