How We Process Payments

Online Bookings and Guest Portal Payments

The Go Coastal Holidays site allows you to search for, locate and book holiday accommodation to suit your needs. When making a booking you will be asked to accept our Terms, Conditions and Cancellation/Refund Policy.

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars. When making a booking at www.gocoastal.com.au you may pay by credit card via the personalised Guest Portal Link you will be sent upon reservation confirmation, alternatively you may pay by direct deposit (details provided in the reservation confirmation email).

For your security this site uses best practices with regards to online payments:

  • When an online booking payment is made you will receive a confirmation email if the payment was successful or a payment failed email if the details entered were incorrect.
  • We guarantee that www.gocoastal.com.au does not handle or store credit card details.
  • Our booking software utilises Australia Post’s (Secure Pay) Credit Card payment system.

Deposit Policies

We have several deposit policies according to the time between securing a booking and your arrival date.

  • If your booking is made more than 30 days before arrival date, the standard deposit policy applies: 50% of booking total (without security deposit) is due at the time of reservation (if payment has not been received within 48 hours of this confirmation email your reservation may be cancelled); the remaining balance (without security deposit) is due 30 days prior to arrival; and the security deposit is due 7 days prior to arrival (and will be refunded 7 days after departure if our house rules are adhered to during your stay and there is no damage to the property).
     
  • If your booking is made within 30 days of your arrival date, the last minute deposit policy applies: the total booking amount of <Booking_TotalLessSecurityDeposit> is due at the time of reservation (if payment has not been received within 48 hours of this confirmation email your reservation may be cancelled); and your Security Deposit is due 7 days prior to arrival (and will be refunded 7 days after departure if our house rules are adhered to during your stay and there is no damage to the property).
     
  • If your booking has been made within 7 days of your arrival date full payment of <Booking_Total> is due at the time of reservation (if payment has not been received within 24 hours of this confirmation email your reservation may be cancelled). Your security deposit will be refunded 7 days after departure if our house rules are adhered to during your stay and there is no damage to the property).
