Tastefully renovated holiday home with two outdoor zones, heated pool, home theatre, & only 850 meters to the beach. Please be aware that the Mornington shire has strict guidelines that effect holiday rentals. These include restricting who can stay & the behaviour & activities of guests while occupying holiday rentals. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings that we feel don't comply.
The Space:
Floor to ceiling sliding doors open the expansive Main living area onto the beautifully landscaped and very private back yard with Mineral Salts Solar Heated pool (Gas heating available at a surcharge - see details below) and outdoor dining space. A high fenced outdoor zone at the front of the house has seating to enjoy a peaceful morning cuppa or to watch the kids jump on the large Springfree Trampoline and play on the landscaped lawn area. Enjoy a breath of absolute luxury in this splendid home, located only 850 meters from Rye front beach and popular Rye pier, restaurants, supermarket, cafes and shopping strip.
The kitchen is well designed with quality appliances including LG ThinQ filtered water/Ice fridge, 900mm Bosch oven and five-burner gas cooktop, Bosch dishwasher and a Delonghi Nespresso coffee pod machine. Beyond the kitchen is the dining table, seating 8; and the inviting lounge with flat screen TV and Sonos soundbar. Next to the living space is an open study area complete with desk, Yamaha piano, Children's games table, and double foldout sofa-bed. Every angle in No. 87 has been lovingly prepared for guests with an eye for good taste and quality furnishings.
At the front of the house is the Media room, perfect for the most discerning movie buffs or simply to enjoy a flick in a sumptuously comfortable space that has plush carpet, remote blackout blinds, a grand King Living sofa to get lost in, and of course the 100 inch Hisense Laser projector with Sonos Surround sound. Sliding glass doors close off the area to enhance the cinema experience and across the hall is a conveniently located powder room. Also at the front of the house is the huge Master suite with incredibly comfortable King bed, 55inch flat screen television, walk-through-robe, and ensuite with separate shower, bath, toilet, and basin.
At the far end of the house is where you’ll find three further bedrooms: two with Queen beds and views of the new pool area or well established, tree lined driveway; the fourth bedroom has bunks. The main bathroom is thoughtfully situated close to the rear bedrooms and has shower, bath, basin, and separate toilet. The laundry with new Miele washer and dryer has access to the back of the house with large clothes line.
Nice extras include skylights throughout, a wrap-around driveway and carport, high speed mesh Wifi, Fujitsu air conditioner to the main living area, ceiling fans throughout, and ducted gas heating that keeps the entire house cosy even on the most wintery nights.
Please Note:
The pool Solar Heating is set to a maximum of 28 degrees (sunshine permitting). A surcharge of $100 per day is required for the operation of the additional Gas Heating which will heat between the hours of 10.30 am and 5.00 pm.
