Ideally located in a quiet street with a peaceful setting and relaxing deck amongst the trees, this renovated 3 BR house is perfect for a family holiday on the popular Mornington Peninsula. Easy access to both the Bay and Ocean Beaches.

Please be aware that the Mornington shire has strict guidelines that effect holiday rentals. These include restricting who can stay & the behaviour & activities of guests while occupying holiday rentals. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings that we feel don't comply.

The Space:

This enjoyable family holiday home is hidden amongst the Moonah trees in a shady and relaxed setting. The owners have just completed a renovation that is bright and cheerful which includes a new kitchen and renovated bathroom. Relax at night with the crackling open fireplace after a BBQ meal on the large wooden deck. Or play a game of table tennis out the back. With the Bay and Ocean Beaches only a short distance, enjoy the stretches of sand, walking tracks and rock pools of the Ocean; or relax in the shallow waters, go for a swim off the pier, and watch the yachts and pleasure crafts in the Bay.

The house comprises of 3 bedrooms, comfortable lounge with beautiful natural light, air conditioning, open fire and access to the very spacious raised deck surrounded by trees and overlooking the sloping and terraced garden - perfect for a family holiday on the popular Mornington Peninsula. The kitchen is fully renovated, well equipped with gas cooktop and oven, microwave, and dishwasher as well as all the pots, pans and utensils that you will need.

Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed.

Bedroom 2 has a Double bed.

Bedroom 3 has a Trilogy bunk (Double plus single) and a single bed.

Doonas are supplied but you will need to bring your own sheets (top & bottom, pillowcases and towels. It's also possible to hire a linen pack - just let us know.

Free Wifi access.

This affordable and enjoyable place to stay, you will want to return to this great family home.



The local Mornington Shire has strict regulations covering Holiday Rental properties that prohibit noise at all times, control parking and rubbish and ensure neighbours are not negatively affected by guests.

No Schoolies or Party style bookings. If you book and disregard the above then we reserve the right to cancel the booking, or ask you to vacate the premises immediately, with full loss of your payment.

- We had a wonderful three nights at this property. As others have mentioned, the driveway is steep but we have a small car so it was OK. We especially enjoyed the cosy open fire, table tennis table out the back, and the deck overlooking the trees where we enjoyed a drink watching the sunset. There was everything we needed to self-cater and the large dining table was perfect for after-dinner board games!

- Great house with a fantastic open fireplace (plus a very effective heater!). Excellent, recently renovated kitchen for cooking, and comfy beds. Short drive to the back beaches and supermarket etc. We'll be back for sure!

- I spent a weekend away here with 5 other friends - had a great time! House has a classic beach house feel and is fitted out with everything you need for a relaxing weekend. Plenty of room for 6 guests given there are 3 seperate bedrooms. Went during winter so appreciated having a fire and heater, as well as big modern kitchen. Great big deck for warmer days as well. Hosts were easy to get in touch with and made themselves available during our stay. Would recommend to stay here for a no fuss easy holiday.

Rye Holiday House

Great holiday home with lovely sunny deck in the trees in quiet area. Good open plan layout inside. Kitchen pretty much had everything we needed. Lots of games for kids.

Loved the property! The location was central, facilities were as advertised. David was a very resposive host who made our stay a pleasure.
