Relaxing Retreat between Beach & Bay
Perfect for a romantic getaway for one or two couples venturing to the Peninsula to soak up the sun & sea or maybe to be pampered at the famous Hot Springs, or perhaps a golfing trip with a mate, 'Relaxing Retreat' is a unique & affordable holiday home catering perfectly to smaller groups. Delightfully positioned in a quiet, tree lined street between Ocean & Bay beaches of Rye, a short stroll to French St Reserve, & just down the road from locally loved Peninsula Pantry Cafe & Penni Ave Distillery.
Please be aware that the Mornington shire has strict guidelines that effect holiday rentals. These include restricting who can stay & the behaviour & activities of guests while occupying holiday rentals. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings that we feel don't comply.
The Space:
Offering two bedrooms both with Queen beds and ceiling fans and one with french door access to the patio with outdoor fireplace, this cozy and welcoming home has all the comforts you'll need for a relaxed holiday. The kitchen is spacious with all the amenities, including dishwasher, coffee pod machine, gas cooktop and oven, microwave, fridge and even a sound system to add a little fun to meal prep. The kitchen island functions as a generous breakfast bench with stools for 4 people, or enjoy your meals in the nook set up in the open plan living/dining/kitchen.
Also in the main living space is a 3-seater couch beside the nook, and another couch and rocking chair beside the TV and wood burning fireplace. In Summer the space is easily kept comfortable and cool with a reverse-cycle air conditioner and multiple ceiling fans. A contemporary bathroom offers shower over bath, vanity and toilet.
Perhaps the most charming thing about this lovely property is the romantic balcony with outdoor fireplace and large, comfortable wicker arm chairs, as well as the delightful landscaping with seaside Daisies, native Moonah Trees, Grasses and Gums. Outside you'll also find a BBQ set up on the side deck, a carport for 1 car, and heaps of wood for the fireplaces. There is also plenty of space to park several cars in the driveway behind secure gates.
Please note doonas and pillows are supplied but you will need to bring your own sheets (top and bottom), pillowcases and towels.
No Schoolies or Party style bookings. If you book and disregard the above then we reserve the right to cancel the booking, or ask you to vacate the premises immediately, with full loss of your payment.
