Bittern Sunday Market
Where: Bittern Railway Station.
When: Every Sunday – rain, hail or shine.
What: Over 70 stalls, including plants and flowers, fresh produce, crafts, new and used goods, and food and coffee. A bustling country vibe.
Boneo Lions Club Sunday Market
Where: Rosebud Foreshore Old Carnival site, Nepean Highway (opposite the 7/11).
When: First Sunday of the month, 7am to 1pm.
What: Browse the stalls with the bay basically at your feet. Up to 130 stalls sell crafts, produce, plants, and new and second-hand items.
Boneo Community Market
Where: Corner of Boneo Road and Limestone Rd, Boneo
When: Third Saturday of the month (since 1977!), 8am to midday.
What: This is a craft market overflowing with locally made goods and produce. Portions of the profit go back into community projects.
Crib Point Community Market
Where: Crib Point Community House, 7 Park Rd.
When: Second Saturday of the month, 9am to 1pm.
What: Indoor and outdoor stalls for jewellery, cards, bags, craft, bric-a-brac, candles, eggs, fretwork gifts, soaps, plants, Devonshire teas, coffee and lots more. Proceeds flow back into community programs and Crib Point Community House.
Dromana Rotary Club Community Market
Where: Dromana Public Park and Recreation Reserve, 359B Point Nepean Road, Dromana.
When: Fourth Saturday of the month, 8:30am to 1:30pm.
What: Local growers, producers and merchants come together to showcase the culture of the Mornington Peninsula through fresh foods, seasonal produce, hand-crafted goods and more.
Hastings Street Market
Where: High Street, Hastings.
When: Every Thursday, 9am to 1pm.
What: Over 40 stalls for all the market must-haves.
Mornington Main Street Market
Where: Main Street, Mornington.
When: Every Wednesday since 1983.
What: A home-made, home-grown and home-baked market boasting gourmet delights, toys, local fashion, crafts, plants, produce and more.
Red Hill Market
Where: Arthurs Seat Rd, Red Hill.
When: First Saturday of the month, September to May. 8am to 2pm.
What: Over 300 stalls of gourmet produce, fresh fruit and vegetables and Aussie-made art and craft. Red Hill is considered the ‘grand dame’ of Victorian craft markets.
Rosebud Primary School “Heart of the Community” Market
Where: Old Carnival site on Rosebud Foreshore
When: Second Saturday of the month.
What: Selling brand new hand-produced goods, produce and plants across up to 130 stalls. No used goods.
Rye Foreshore Market
Where: Rye Foreshore near Pier
When: First Saturday of the month. 7am to noon.
What: 75 to 120 stalls in the open air sell gifts, crafts, produce and more. Let the beach air find its way to you from just across the road as you browse and shop.
Tootgarook Primary School Market
Where: Tootgarook Primary School
When: Fourth Saturday of the month, 7:30am to 12:30pm.
What: A fundraising event for the Primary School, this market boasts about 250 stalls so there’s something for everyone.
