The Pool is Solar Heated and although this is effective in the warmer months of November to March there is no real heating effect from approximately April to October as it relies upon the longer and warmer days for the solar system to effectively heat.

The Area:
Florence House is ideally located on the border of Rye & Blairgowrie in a quiet, secluded street. Explore the Peninsula with Sorrento main street hub to your left, Red Hill wineries to your right, and St Andrews Beach behind you. You'll be in the centre of it all! Close enough to the hustle and bustle, but far enough away to enjoy a bit of peaceful and quiet.
Walk out the front door and stroll straight ahead for 15 minutes toward the picturesque Tyrone Foreshore lined with iconic colourful bathing boxes and calm flat waters of the bay. The back Beach is also close by where you'll be met with majestic vistas and spectacular waves ideal for surfers.
Turn left and walk to Blairgowrie cafes, restaurants, IGA, and all your essentials, or right to the Rye hub with all amenities.
Many of Mornington Peninsula's highlights are just a few minutes drive away - Peninsula Hot Springs, Cups Estate Winery–plus tonnes more wineries scattered across the Red Hill/Main Ridge area–St Andrews Brewery, World-class golf courses, Sorrento main street, etc. Whether on foot or by car, every direction you turn there is somewhere to explore!
